Case study - river Stoer

The total catchment of the River Stoer covers an area of 1780 km² and is considered one of the largest watersystems in North Germany. This study will be focused on the upper catchment area of the River Sör (spring area) where the area to be modelled will be of 204 km². The spring is located southeast of Neumünster, which flows south of Neumünster, passes Kellinghusen and Itzehoe and flows finally through Glückstadt towards the River Elbe.
